2. What The Service Does

Soil Identifier uses AI to generate soil reports from photos — including soil type, texture, pH estimate, drainage, fertility, amendments, crop suggestions, and more. The reports are educational and experimental in nature.

3. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate details when you create an account
• Do not upload illegal, harmful, or unrelated imagery
• Do not try to abuse, overload, or circumvent the service
• Respect the intellectual property of others

4. Disclaimer

Results are provided for general educational purposes. Soil Identifier is not a certified laboratory. Do not rely on AI-generated pH, nutrient, or contamination readings for commercial agriculture, construction, public health, or any decision with significant financial, safety, or legal consequences. For those, send a sample to an accredited lab or your local cooperative extension.

5. Intellectual Property

You keep ownership of photos you upload. By submitting a photo, you grant us the license necessary to process it, display it in the community gallery (when marked public), and improve our AI over time. Our service, models, and software remain our property.

6. Limitation Of Liability

Soil Identifier is provided "as is" without warranties. We aren't liable for outcomes that follow from relying on a report — including crop losses, planting decisions, or contamination assessments.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version.
